Skirt-Gasms at D.P

I am loving Dorothy Perkins at the moment with their cute little dresses and skirts! All though i have told myself i can not afford to buy new clothes at the moment i can't deny that i am tempted! We'll see how i get on with that!
I've been checking out Asos recently and nothing is jumping out at me, also is it me or are they getting a little more expensive? Usually i find D.P more pricey at times but comparing the two i found Asos to be more costly!

So lately i have been thinking about my blog and what i want it to become, right now it is about nothing specific although it does tend to center more around clothes, which is ok of course, i do love clothes and besides its through reading fatshion blogs which inspired me to start mine. I am just finding it hard to keep my blog updated with OOTD pics which is partly because 1) i work most days in my uniform 2) i have no camera at the moment 3) i am lazy and forgetful.  Sometimes i think without the outfit pics there is no blog! So i've decided i want to broaden my blog, i don't want to lose the followers i have by going completely off topic but there is a lot more to me then what i wear and i want to share all my passions with you! (if you let me) Its gonna take some time to find direction but bear with me! xoxo

OOTD- I Feel Wicked in White

Hope April is finding everyone in good spirits, i know i am definitely walking with a spring in my step its been nice having some warmth, not having to wear layers of clothes, and occasionally being waken up by the sun in the morning!

Its been pretty slow on the outfit front, I've been too tired to make an effort on my days off work. I have purchased a lot of new clothes lately, i have the shopping bug at the moment and that is never good for the pocket i seem to be spending like i have won the lottery! I will do a shoe post on a few newbies i have from H&M and Isme.
I think the next purchase i will make is a tripod for my camera because taking full length pictures is impossible by myself and i think my housemate might kill me if i ask her to take anymore pics of me lol

On to the outfit. Last night i went to see Wicked with my housemates. I wore my brand new cheese cloth midi skirt from Dorothy Perkins. I was having a bloated day and was going into melt down, you know when nothing in your wardrobe looks right? I didn't want to wear anything uncomfortable like support underwear, i wanted to let my belly hang free!

The skirt had movement, it was cool and comfortable I LOVE IT! I need it in more colours quick!
Blazer- Simply Be
Everything else-Dorothy Perkins

I wore it with a plain black top and a faux leather belt all from Dorothy Perkins. I felt comfortable all night and really enjoyed the show i would say if your into musicals then it should be on your list of things to see, it had all the sparkle and gut busting numbers you would expect. Its a little bit on the pricey side but i think i got my money's worth!

Oh i forgot my necklace..... Its from Evans and it cost me £2 in the sale! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far, thanks to all you beauties for reading. xoxo

OOTD Tribal Skirt

Last night me and the girls went to see No Strings Attached as we were bored sitting in the house, i decided to wear my new boots, so i put on my tribal skirt and denim shirt. I loved the movement and how comfortable i felt in it as i stuffed my face with Ben & Jerry's ice cream!
I found this ring when i was clearing out my room the other day, it was a gift from my aunt a few years ago.  I thought it would tie in well with my tribal theme.

Skirt/Denim Shirt/Leggings-Dorothy Perkins
White Tee-Asos
Belt-Dorothy Perkins
Boots-Simply Be (Moda in Pelle)

Is it me or does anyone else wear leggings as tights? I love the thickness of leggings sometimes i can't achieve that same look with opaque tights!
The film was ok, it was nice going to the cinema, it's been such a long time i forgot how expensive it can be!
Some magazine recommended the film as a good date movie, i have to disagree, with the sexual scenes i would feel a little uncomfortable watching with a potential lover, especially if  i don't like the guy! What do you think? xoxo

Casual OOTD Post

Jacket-Asos
Top-Dorothy Perkins
Skirted Leggings-Asos
Boots-Ann Harvey

Well as you can see I am still learning to like taking pics, not quite there yet! If i have to suffer through them you better appreiciate them lol
Today was just a casual day which is how i am 80% of the time when i'm not in my uniform, maybe one day i'll amuse you all with a photo of me in my work attire!
My favourite element in this outfit is my cheat top, i call it a cheat because its a top and necklace in one, definately a win win!
Taken just outside the front of my house, since the sun was out for once i thought a change of scenery would be nice, i did get a little camera shy when people walked by, i guess thats something i'll get over in time. Well its nearly the end of the week people, whats your plan for the weekend? I'm going to pretend that Valentines Day dos not exist! I'll let you know how that works out for me! xoxo

Saturday Night's Alright with Steve Harvey

It's been awhile since i have had a weekend to myself to do nothing! And let me tell you it feel soo good, sometimes i think I'm getting old before my time. In between bad TV i have been drooling over clothes i can't afford right now! (i need to start playing the lottery) I don't know why i do it to myself, i blame all you bloggers out there that give me style inspiration!

I love Asos but I'm sure I've said that before, I've decided this year I'm going to try and wear more skirts and dresses, I'm so used to wearing jeans I'm sure it will be a challenge but I'm ready for it!

I am loving these 70's inspired shoes from good old Dorothy Perkins

I would totally wear them with the pleated skirt and orange top Asos dress, can you see it?

Today i painted my nails this cool dark blue it's from the Boots No7 range called Betty Blues, not usually a fan of dark colours but i LOVE IT
I cooked a fab dinner (if i don't say so myself) sometimes i surprise myself lol

Stew Chicken
Rice and Peas
Honey Roasted Plantain
Cucumber
I've been reading Steve Harvey. Now I'm a single lady as we all know, i don't make it a habit to read relationship books this would be my first. What attracted me to this book is the fact its written by one of the kings of comedy so at least it would be humorous.

I read the first book already (Act like a Lady, Think like a Man) and it was funny and to the point! It does make a lot of sense to me but i do posses common sense and we all know its not common! He is very old school, he talks about waiting 90 days before you give up the cookie (as he puts it) and with a chapter named  "first things first: he wants to sleep with you" you know your in for some laughs! I think if there is something to this then maybe i might try finding love the Steve Harvey way and see how that works out for me! hmmmm to be continued.....

OOTD-Zig Zag Top

I wanted to do another outfit post as I clearly don't do enough! I got this top last week from the sale at Dorothy Perkins. I liked it when it was full price but I didn't wanna pay the money for it so I didn't bother! I'm glad now because at £17 I felt it was worthy!

Top has its own belt but to make it a little more interesting I put it with a black leather look belt that originally came part of a dress, I don't even remember what happened to that dress but I still have the belt which has come in handy many times!

Everything I am wearing is from Dorothy Perkins, what do you think?

My Weekend and OOTD-Tesco Bandeau Skirt

Hey everyone, I've been slacking in the post department only because i have been working hard and when you have to be up at 3am everyday i am tired! i just didn't have the energy! Who knew it took so much energy to keep up with your blog, i now have a new found respect to all bloggers!

Anyway i had the weekend off and it was eventful but once again i left the house without the camera so i didn't get the pics! : ( I have to start getting in the habit of taking my camera everywhere i go!

Thursday night i went to the theatre for the first time time to see Avenue Q. It was enjoyable and it made me laugh especially the number "everyone's a little bit racist" yes very risky! I ended the night with some ice cream at the Haagan Daaz Cafe, there's something about ice cream in the winter that i like!

Friday night was down to china town for some bad Chinese, i ordered a beef dish and I'm still not sure it was beef i was eating! After we had a few cheap drinks at the Slug and Lettuce and was served drinks by the yummiest bartender ever! i will surely be going back just for him! We got talking to a couple of guys that made me feel super old as they were only 21! Then we headed to Metra. It was not as good as the last time, i think maybe too much thought had gone into it this time making it an average night!

Saturday night i went back to my favourite place Moonlighting. music was good but i just wasn't feeling the vibes! i think my going out bug has died! Its just the same old guys or shall i say beasts with no manners its just one big meat market! I wanna go out and meet my potential husband and i know that's not gonna happen there! i think i just want familiarity and i wanna feel comfortable not conscious of myself, its all so complicated!

Anyway onto better things! I thought i would do a quick outfit post with my new skirt from Tesco which was only £16, bargain! I love it, because the material is thick it hides a multitude of sins! The only thing is the shade of pink is darker than on the website.

I teamed it with my cage shoulder top from Asos and my Dorothy Perkin shoes. I look a little bit messy but i just could not be that bothered lol I give the skirt a thumbs up! What do you think?
